Zoomlion to fumigate over 2000 private schools in Greater Kumasi
As part of measures to ensure the safety of students and teachers on June 22 school reopening for all JHS final year students, the waste management giant, Zoomlion Ghana Limited has partnered with the Ghana National Council of private Schools to fumigate over 2000 private schools in Greater Kumasi starting June 18, 2020.
To ensure a smooth and effective exercise, the Ashanti regional leadership of the Ghana National Council of private schools has presented details of 2,070 private and their various locations to Zoomlion Company to aid them carry out the exercise successfully in the region.
The Ashanti regional manager of Zoomlion Ghana Ltd, Mr. Franklin Ofori Akufo in a meeting with GNACOPS said the company is ready to carry out the exercise in all the private schools presented by the Council without any financial cost on the part of the school owners.
GNACOPS entreats all proprietors and managers of private schools to carry out a thorough clean up exercise in their schools before the fumigation team commences the exercise.
Consequently, the Council urges all school owners to abide by all directives that would help the successful implementation of the exercise
