Less than 24 hours ago, sensational songstress Wendy Shay was trending on social media after a rather weird photo of her went viral. She was accused of trying to copy the style of her former label mate Ebony.

Well, to calm down the nerves of Ebony fans, Wendy Shay has come out to explain the rationale behind her rather weird photo.

According to the “Bedroom Comando” crooner in an Instagram post sighted by myshsrank, she deliberately posted the photo because she knew Ghanaians were going to make a comparison with Ebony.

She explained that, ever since her unfortunate death in 2018, Ghanaians seems to have forgotten about her and she (Wendy Shay) has taken it upon herself to remind people that Ebony’s legacy still lives on.

She announced her decision to do a song with Ebony and pleaded with Ghanaians to make it trend like the way they made the photo trend.
