WASSCE 2020 suspended by WAEC
The West African Examination Council has suspended the 2020 WASSCE due to the current state of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Ghana and also as part of their effort to carry out the directive of the President to suspend social gatherings in order to contain the spread of the virus.
In a press release cited by myshsrank.com and verified on the website of WAEC, this is in line with the protocol put in place by the government. It also stated a new Timetable for the conduct of the examination will be designed and made available to all stakeholders when the health situation improves.
Attach is a screenshot of the letter in circulations.
Myshsrank.com wishes to encourage all candidates to use this time to improve upon their preparations, as we all observe the protocols from W.H.O and the government to help contain the spread and find a solution to this unfortunate pandemic.
Let’s all join hands in prayer in our closet and ask for God’s mercy.
Don’t be afraid and don’t panic, just observe the basic personal hygiene and follow the instructions.
