The National Science and Maths Quiz is an annual science and mathematics content-based national level quiz competition for senior high schools in Ghana. It has been produced by Primetime Limited, education-interest advertising, and public relations agency, since 1993.

As announced by Primetime Limited, the 2021 NSMQ Regional Qualifiers will begin May 3, 2021, and end on June 3, 2021, as sighted by unitedshowbiz.com.gh in a post by the official social handles of NSMQ Ghana.

The initial date was from 12th April 2021 to 15th May 2021.

The 2021 NSMQ Regional Qualifiers will feature over 600 Senior High Schools (SHSs) in the country who will compete for a chance to show their prowess on the National Stage. from all the 16 regions of Ghana namely;
-Oti Region
-Bono East Region
-Ahafo Region
-Bono Region
-North-East Region
-Savannah Region –
-Western North Region
-Western Region
-Volta Region – Ho
-Greater Accra Region
-Eastern Region
-Ashanti Region
-Central Region
-Northern Region
-Upper East Region
-Upper West Region
