The second contest of the day for the central regional championship featured St. Augustine's College, Mfantsipim School, Wesley Girls, and Swedru Senior High School.

As it has been the case in all NSMQ when old and strong rivals meet, the contest is expected to offer nothing but one that is hot and nerve-racking as a strong bragging right is more at stake than the championships itself.

Right from round one up until round 3, St. Augustine dominated leading each of these rounds with a very slim score margin, which added to the tension and heightened the trilling effect of the contest.

In the final round, the Mfantsipim boys pulled some trigger and ended the contest as winners, into the finals slated for tomorrow where they face Adisadel College and one more school from the third contest underway.
