News: Senior High Schools Qualified For NSMQ 2018 Quarter Finals
So far, its good and exciting for the 2018 National Science and Maths Quiz which is ongoing at the University of Ghana Legon campus, in the Amegashie Auditorium at the Business School.
In all 81 schools contested in the one-eight stage of the competition with a total of 27 distinct and exciting contest that sieved the big boys and girls from the small ones.
There were a lot of tenterhook moments as well as exciting and sorrowful atmosphere that greeted the various contest in the one-eight stage.
The one-eight stage featured contests that were very heated, emotional and even with one of such contest landing into tiebreaker rounds as it was in the case of Achimota SHS vs Tamale SHS vs Apam SHS.
This contest by far is one of the hottest especially in the one-eight stage of the competition.
The one-eight stage ended with one of the biggest fixtures where the NSMQ 2017 defending champions, Prempeh College took on two other strong schools St. Francis Xavier Jnr Sem and Saviour SHS.
However, the last show was purely dominated by Prempeh College who won the contest with the highest point of 62 just as St. Peters Boys and West Africa Secondary School (WASS) did in their respective contests.
