From truck pusher to parliament: The amazing story of MP-elect Francis-Xavier Sosu
The current Member of Parliament-elect for Madina Constituency, Lawyer Francis-Xavier Sosu has shared his inspiring story of how he scaled over hurdles in life. He revealed how he had to push trucks and sell everything sellable just to be able to get some money to get by in life.
According to the NDC MP for Madina, even when he was elected as the Boys' Prefect of St John's Grammar Senior High School, he had to walk for miles to beg for money to be able to get to school. At some point in his life, fate shone upon him and he got adopted into an orphanage. It was there that he got some educational sponsorship and went on to become a Human Rights lawyer. The MP-elect said after passing out, he had a strong conviction to give back to society by helping others who found themselves in the same position he found himself.
