Heritage Bank, a wholly owned Ghanaian bank, has donated thousands of Mathematics revision books to SHS pupils through the Ministry of Education.

This was done in collaboration with other agencies working closely with renowned professors and teachers in the area of mathematics and science education.

Interacting with the media after the launch of the books at the Ministry of Education, the Head of Marketing, Branding and Communication of Heritage Bank, Mr Ebenezer Akyeampong, said Heritage Bank remains committed to seeing every Ghanaian's dream become a reality.

"We believe that it’s possible for a Ghanaian child from a deprived community to attain higher education and achieve his/her dream of launching a rocket to the moon. Therefore, when this idea came to us, we thought we have to do everything possible to support it and to push the government’s flagship Free SHS program. We believe this initiative will improve the learning of Mathematics and Science to churn out leaders who can drive innovation and be at the forefront of development in this country. It’s our vision that in few years, every SHS pupil will have a copy of this book. It’s possible,” he said.
