Yamfo Anglican Senior High School located in Tano North Municipality of Brong Ahafo Region in Yamfo town was started as a private community school by the chief and people of Yamfo in 1982. Their objective was to make secondary education accessible to basic school learners in and around the Yamfo locality. The Anglican Mission took over the management of the school in 1988 and changed the name to Yamfo Anglican Secondary School. The school was integrated into the public school system and absorbed by the Government as assisted an secondary school in 1991.
