Dwamena Akenten was established in September 1964 to serve the Offinso Community and its environs, a predominantly farming community in Offinso Municipality in Ashanti Region. The school is located along the Kumasi Techiman road, which is 18 kilometres’ drive from Kumasi. It is situated on a hill with a 72- acre land stretch.
