The school was established in 2011 through the efforts of the Central Gonja District Assembly, the Traditional Authority, and the District Education Directorate. It was absorbed by Government as a Public school in the 2015/2016 academic year. It is located in the Central Gonja District in the Northern Region, specifically 7km on the Tamale-Techiman highway.
