Why these senior high schools may never participate in NSMQ
The National Science & Maths quiz is the most anticipated and well recognized high school academic competition spanning 25 years now.
The most important indicator that a school has the chance to compete in the NSMQ right from the regional to the national level is offering General Science as an SHS course, elective science students reading chemistry, physics, biology.
Based on the schools register 2019 released by GES, which contains about courses offered reveals that the following schools are most likely incapable of ever participating in the NSMQ because they do not offer General Science.
Here is a list of 57 out of about 132 SHS that cannot participate until general science is offered.
