Takpo Senior High School is located in Takpo in the Nadowli-Kaleo District of the Upper West Region. It started in January 2011 as a private Community Day Senior High School to serve Takpo and its surrounding communities.

It was later absorbed by Government in June 2013. The school operates in an Old JHS 6-unit classroom block.

It has a student population of 175. Management of the school has acquired a 50-acre land waiting for infrastructure to be built for the school to move there

Its current student population as of 2020 is around 204 with school facilities including 2 Classroom Blocks, ICT Lab.
