Presbyterian Secondary school, Begoro
The Presbyterian Secondary school, Begoro, started as the Begoro Secondary school following the phasing out of the Begoro Women’s Training College on the 31st of August, 1972.
The school initially started as the Presbyterian Middle Girls Boarding school in the early forties by the Basel Mission, ARISE.
It was then converted into the Begoro Women’s Training College on the 10th of December, 1965. The school has grown from a student population of 70 to over 2000 with 1349 boarders and 651-day students.
The school's current student population as of 2020 is around 2436 with school facilities including 32 Classrooms, Science Lab, Library, Computer Lab among others.

MISSION
To create an atmosphere that is conducive for learning and for the training of responsible future leaders who are imbued with unique values of discipline, humility, morality, service, and hard work.
ACHIEVEMENTS
- Won Trophies in Hockey, Athletics, Volleyball, and Soccer at the Zonal level.
- Score over 95% success in WASSCE each year.
