NSMQ 2019: G.S.T.S Sends Mawuli and Ola Girls Back to Volta
Their contest was the last but one fixture of the one-eight stage, and partly regarded by pundits as another regional supremacy but for G.S.T.S win.
It was expected to be another nerve-wracking contest considering the past exploits of the three schools, and at the end, the result clearly shows it.
Mawuli School dominated from the 1st round until the end of the 4th when G.S.T.S took over the lead with 25pts followed by Mawuli and Ola Girls’ with 23 and 22 points respectively.
This was one of the closest contests!
At the end of the contest, G.S.T.S maintain the point difference of two to win. The scores were:
G.S.T.S – 31pts
Mawuli School – 29pts
OLA Girls SHS – 22pts
Mawuli School loses its seeded slot to G.S.T.S and will start NSMQ 2020 at fresh from the regionals.
