How to Become A Successful Student While On Double-Track System
I’ve come to realize that successful students aren’t smarter than others. They’re just more organized, more concentrated, and they’ve established winning habits. So even if you don’t feel like you’re a smart student, don’t worry about it.
Below are some suggestions and ideas on how to become a successful student
1. Relying on processes, not inspiration
Students doing well at school don’t hesitate until they’re in the mood to learn before they get to work. We don’t hesitate until we feel motivated before training for a test. Alternatively, successful students depend on systems to make sure they do the job, even if they don’t feel like it. Read all the new information you’ve gained on the same day.
2. Review any new information you’ve learned on the same day
This routine read isn’t going to take long to do, but it’s a vital step to keep you on top of the content. It will also allow you to transfer the information faster to your long-term memory by following this suggestion.
3.Write down everything
To be a good student, write down everything. It involves doing assignments, training and evaluation times, assignment schedules, days of activity, school and social activities, and so on. Don’t suppose you’re going to be able to remember anything; write down everything to stay organized. This tip may sound extreme, but as you get older, life becomes busier. So for the rest of your life this guide will serve you well.
Build a rough weekly schedule of planner writing. A schedule can not be followed up to the minute, but creating a schedule is still helpful. Based on your recurring commitments, e.g. school, extracurricular, write down your rough weekly schedule. Maybe you’re going to work on: Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: 14 a.m. to 5 p.m.
4. Get rid of distractions before they become obstacles.
Distractions are the biggest obstacle to doing well in education. You can’t rely on determination to resolve obstacles. Few of us have the requisite stamina to fight against all the threats that overwhelm us in this digital age.
Here are a few strategies to avoid obstacles before they become distractions: switch off your phone/tablet alerts Remove all the applications that annoy you Place your phone/tablet in another space until you start working Use a really, really long password to activate your phone/tablet Limit your Internet access Have only one window open in your browser at any time.
5.Create healthy posture
Good posture should improve your mood and enhance your memory and learning as well. And sit up straight, pull back your hands and raise your chin up–and you’re going to do better at school.
6. Don’t multitask
It’s a fact: multitasking doesn’t work. You can move between roles when you’re multitasking. It reduces the effectiveness of your analysis. So when you research or do your assignments, don’t multitask. Alternatively, work on one task at a time, and you’ll notice that in less time you’re able to get more accomplished.
